How to make shahi chicken rezala

This recipe is for non-veg lovers. Very tasty and yummy. Must try this. Learn how to make chicken rezala.



Step 1: Marinate chicken
In a bowl, take 1/2 kg chicken. add 1/2 tbs white pepper powder, 1/2 tbs salt, 1 tbs ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp onion paste, 2 tbsp curd and mix well. Now leave it for 30 min.
Step 2: Cook chicken
Heat a pan and add butter. When the butter starts melting, add bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and saute it for 20-30 sec. Now add onion paste and cook for 1-2 min. Now add green chili, ginger-garlic paste, and in low to medium flame again cook for 1-2 min. Now add 1 and 1/2 tbs cashew and poppy seed paste (simply grind 5-7 cashew and 1 tbs poppy seed), 1 cup curd, salt a/c to taste, and 1 tbs white pepper powder. Now mix well and cook for 1-2 min. Now add chicken and 1/2 cup water and mix well. Now cover it and in low flame, cook for 30 min. Now add 1/2 tbs salt, 1 tbs garam masala and mix well. chicken is ready.
Step 3: Tadka for chicken
Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan. When the oil is well heated, add 2 dry red chilli, chopped onion and cook till light golden brown. Now add this onion and red chilli in chicken, add 1-2 drop kewada water and pinch of saffron and mix well. Now chicken shahi rezala is ready to serve.
