How to make kala jamun

Today i am sharing a recipe of kala jamun. Kala jamun is quite similar with gulab jamun, the only diffrence is color and texture. While gulab jamuns are golden colored balls, kala jamun have a dark color.

Step 1: Make sugar syrup
ADD SUGAR IN A POT, ADD WATER AND GREEN CARDAMOM. NOW PUT THIS POT ON GAS FLAME AND COOK TILL 5-7 MIN TILL THEN SUGAR DISSOLVE IN WATER AND SUGAR SYRUP BECAME THICK
Step 2: Make a dough
TAKE A PLATE ADD PANEER AND MASH. NOW ADD RAVA,BAKING POWDER,MAVA,ALL PURPOSE FLOUR. MIX WELL AND MAKE DOUGH FROM IT
Step 3: Give Shape
NOW TAKE A PORTION FROM DOUGH AND MAKE BALLS.
Step 4: Fry
HEAT OIL IN A PAN. ADD BALLS IN HOT OIL AND FRY IT TILL DARK GOLDEN BROWN FROM BOTH SIDES. WHEN GULAB JAMUNS HAS FRIED FROM BOTH SIDES,TAKE IT OUT IN A PLATE
Step 5: Soak
AND GULAB JAMUN IN CHASHNI AND LEAVE FOR 15-20 MIN.
