How to make holi special khaja sweet
Try this Khaja recipe on any of the upcoming special occasions to hear praises from family members and guests. Since it is a good keeper, the Khajas can be stored in airtight containers up to 2 weeks.
Step 1: Make sugar syrup
For sugar syrup take sugar and water and cook until sugar dissolve.
Step 2: Make a dough
Now take Maida, add ghee and mix well. Add water and make a dough from it. Cover the dough and rest for 10-15 min.
Step 3: Give Shape
Now divide the dough into two parts. Dust a butter paper with Maida. Take one part of dough and roll it with rolling pin. Now apply ghee and sprinkle some Maida and roll the dough as shown. Now cut the rough edges. And cut into pieces. Now take one piece and roll again with rolling pin as shown in video. Make all pieces like this.
Step 4: Fry
Now fry all pieces in hot oil from both sides till golden brown
Step 5: Soak
When Khaja has fried put directly it in sugar syrup and let it be soaked for 10-15 min.
