How to make chana dal tadka

Step 1: Cook chana dal
In a pressure cooker, add chana dal, 3 green chilli, 1/4 tbs turmeric powder, 1/2 tbs salt, 2 cup water and cook for 1 whistle.
Step 2: Prepare tadka
Heat 2 tbs oil in a pan. When the oil is well-heated add hing, 4-5 dry red chilli, 1 tbs cumin seeds and saute it for 20-30 sec. Now add ginger and saute it for some time. Then add garlic, onion and cook till softened. Now add cooked chana dal, mix well and cook for 2-3 min in low to medium flame. After 3 min chana dal tadka is ready.
