How to make biryani without onion

Step 1: Marinate
Take chicken in a bowl. Add ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, dry red chilli, food colour and mix well. Now add curd and oil and again mix well. Cover it and marinate for half hour.
Step 2: cook
On the other side take water in a pan. Add salt, oil, bay leaf and mix well. Add rice, cover it and cook for 10-15 min in low to medium flame. Now drain it
Step 3: cook
Heat oil in a pan. Fry all chicken pieces. Add gravy in remaining oil and cook for 1 and ½ min. now add 1 tomato puree, mix well and again cook for 1 and ½ min. add salt and mix. Take out half gravy in a bowl and in rest add rice. Put chicken pieces, add gravy, chopped mint leave, chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice, green chillies. Now add another layer of rice, mint leave, coriander leaves, lemon juice, green chilli, food colour. Now cover it and cook for 10-12 min in low to medium flame.
